| 5–15 min | Discuss what evidence would prove students learned the target. |
| 15–35 min | Draft or select common assessment items/tasks. |
| 35–43 min | Check alignment to the learning targets. |
| 43–45 min | Assign any item-writing or revision work before the next meeting. |
Why This Meeting Matters
The assessment should be designed to inform instruction, not simply generate a grade. This is the tool that will allow the team to identify student needs and teacher learning.
